TECNALIA presented the DENiM project at a Workshop organized by PLATEA (Spanish Steel Technological Platform) on 19th May in Madrid. After a brief presentation of the project, the focus was on the developments to predict and reduce the energy consumption in the Steel Pilot Case at SIDENOR facilities.
The different models of the Electric Arc Furnace and Secondary Metallurgy were shown and the planned Decision Support System for these processes were described.
