We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the third General Assembly of the project, an engaging two-day event that took place on the 13th and 14th of June 2023 in the city of Velenje, Slovenia. In the month of December DENiM project took part in the second edition of the standardization workshop organized by ENERMAN project. The event collects contributions from sister EU projects working in the field of energy efficiency in industrial sectors as ECOFACT and DENiM, with the aim to provide new contributions in the development end promotion of standards and best practices, as well as define new standards. EFFRA have organised two Made in Europe Stakeholders Meetings. The first was held on the 26th of November and the second one on the 9th of December with two different focus areas.DENiM participated on 9 December 2021 meeting with the focus on "Environmental and Social Sustainability in Manufacturing" and gave a pitch presentation with the aim of making the stakeholders aware of the operation of the project.The discussions were also powered by associated project outcomes and impacts (actual/achieved and expected) within the previous framework programme. The DENiM_fof project has been running for 1 year! In the virtual plenary workshop held on November 10 and 11, the 57 participants from 18 partners presented their results and discussed the next steps of the project. A first round of workshops with the pilots has been held starting April 13th, 2021. The main objective of the workshops was to start setting the scene for the environmental and cost analysis framework on the top of which the DENIM platform will rely for energy oriented optimisation. The first ENGINE workshop, an initiative aimed at creating a connection between H2020 projects, was held on Monday 12th April 2021. The EuropeaN diGital Innovation Network (ENGINE) was born as a voluntary initiative inside the H2020 Manusquare project and currently involves projects running under the H2020 framework, with the common perspective of fostering the sharing, dissemination and exploitation of up-to-date information about projects results and initiatives, in order to mutually extend dissemination channels, find connection points among the participating projects, and promoting networking and cross-fertilisation in the EU based digital innovation domain. On next March, 18th 2021, DENiM will host the first meeting of the External Experts Advisory Board. The board, constituted by relevant experts in the domain of digitalisation, industrial sustainability, energy management, will support the project in its journey towards more sustainable, energy efficient production systems.
