In this brochure, you will find information on four exciting projects funded by Horizon 2020, all grouped under the call DT-FOF-09-2020 - Energy-efficient manufacturing system management (IA). These projects, namely DENIM, ECOFACT, ENERMAN, and E2COMATION, are at the forefront of advanced manufacturing and processing research and innovation. Pathways to Energy Efficient Manufacturing through Digitisation

A white paper has been released presenting the findings of four EU-funded projects under DT-FOF-09-2020 - Energy-efficient manufacturing system management, focused on identifying innovative ways and best practices for leveraging digital technologies to implement more energy-efficient manufacturing systems. The four funded DT-FOF-09-2020 projects have the task of collectively contributing solutions to the pathway milestones, with the aim of providing new innovative solutions that are evaluated and validated across different industrial sectors, promoting best practices and sharing knowledge and lessons learned to help accelerate the digital and green transition for the manufacturing industry. DT-FOF-09-2020 – Energy-efficient manufacturing system management – Project Cluster Catalogue

Under the umbrella of H2020-EU.2.1.5.1. - Technologies for Factories of the Future the DT-FOF-09-2020 - Energy-efficient manufacturing system management topic, DENiM was funded with other 3 projects: • ENERMAN: ENERgy-efficient manufacturing system MANagement (958478) • ECOFACT: ECO-innovative Energy FACTory Management System based on enhanced LCA and LCCA towards resource-efficient manufacturing (958373) • E2COMATION: Life-cycle optimization of industrial energy efficiency by a distributed control and decision-making automation platform (958410) Thanks to the ENGINE initiative, these projects have started working together to define cross activities and maximize results impact. Standardization Workshop To Standardization Bodies #1

The first standardisation workshop for standardisation bodies was held on 24 November, an initiative organised by the sister project EnerMan (FoF-09 Cluster) with the aim of creating collaboration between bodies focused on industrial energy systems and energy management. DENiM was represented by the partner R2M who, following a general presentation of the project, described the standardisation activities carried out for the project and discussed energy efficiency guidelines, general requirements for energy audits and the energy management system. DENiM Workshop at Sustainable Places 2021

DENiM will participate in the Sustainable Places Conference 2021 to be held in Rome from 28 September to 1 October 2021.DENiM will be present in the “Pathways to Energy Efficient Manufacturing” workshop scheduled for September 28th from 15:30 to 18:30 CET.This workshop will increase collaboration between projects for sister projects FoF-09-2020 (DENiM, ENERMAN, ECOFACT and E2COMATION). DENiM adhering to ENGINE initiative

The EuropeaN diGital Innovation Network (ENGINE) is a venture aiming at strengthening connections among digital initiatives at European level, working on strategic topics addressing the constitution, population or regulation of the European Digital Single Market. ENGINE was born as a voluntary initiative inside the H2020 Manusquare project and currently involves projects running under the H2020 framework, with the common perspective of fostering the sharing, dissemination and exploitation of up-to-date information about projects results and initiatives, in order to mutually extend dissemination channels, find connection points among the participating projects, and promoting networking and cross-fertilisation in the EU based digital innovation…
